A segmented wood ring in the shape of a Torus (donut).
The name was chosen because this is my first segmented torus
and because of the enormous amount of knowledge gained.
The torus was made using five board feet of cherry.
Its coloring will become deeper-richer over the coming years,
which is typical of cherry as it ages.
Overall, the torus is 13 1/2 inches in diameter.
With the base Experience measures 15 inches tall.
Making this first Torus has given me a new appreciation for
Malcolm J. Tibbetts' art that can be seen on his website

Wow, That is specular. My husband is a wood turner and accomplishes beautiful pieces. But this piece is exceptional. Congratulations on a difficult piece.
