Start with a thin wall maple bowl

turned green and allowed to dry naturally.

13" diameter x 5-1/2" deep

Julie added the silk yarn wrapping.

She used nearly two skeins.

at the John C. Campbell Folk School

in April, 2011.

Last week, Julie painted it.

Patience stands 10" tall.
